SARDA Interoperable Training 2018

Thank you to MFB (Melbourne Metropolitan Fire Brigade)for the invitation today to attend the opening of their new Laverton Fire Brigade. SARDA-Search & Rescue Dogs Australia Inc continues to collaborate with all the Emergency Services in both training and days like today where the interoperability of rescue agencies continue to support each other.

SARDA-Search & Rescue Dogs Australia Inc’s Operational handlers were presented today with their Usar deployment helmets from the MFB (Melbourne Metropolitan Fire Brigade)
– AFCO Western Peter Thomas and Director North West Central David Bruce.

Thank you also to Commander Guy McCrorie MFB (Melbourne Metropolitan Fire Brigade) Western District Emergency Management for your constant support and vision, plus MFB (Melbourne Metropolitan Fire Brigade) Colin Campbell, LFF MLO – Multicultural Liaison Officer who continues to implement regular agency interaction.

It was a great day with other Emergency Service Agencies attending Hobsons Bay SES and Point Cook Fire Brigade (CFA)

Next on the calendar for 2018 are many combined interagency training days which are essential for keeping all personnel well versed on each capability.
